Meet Patou, a captivating 11 month old Great Pyrenees, ready to find her forever home. She is happiest when she is with her doggy friends and is learning to trust kind and gentle humans. With her precious demeanor and love for older children, dogs, cats, and farm friends, she would be a wonderful addition to any home. Crate trained, housebroken, and harmonious with animals, Patou delights in friendship and affection. She’s blossoming in foster care, and growing more confident everyday. An ideal home features another dog or multiple dogs, a fenced yard, and dedicated owner who is committed to continuing her training and socialization. Patou adores snuggling with canine companions and despite being very scared when she arrived, in just a short time she is warming quickly to her foster family. She is a gentle giant and sweet soul who deserves a loving family. Side note: We would prefer if her adopter did not crate her. She gets anxious at bedtime and paces, but she settles down on her own after a bit. When she was put in a crate, she was panting and drooling and would not relax.
