Meet Paxton!!
Paxton is an approximately 4.5 year old, lab mix (best guess), 40lb boy rescued from the euthanasia list in Houston, TX.
Paxton has been working so hard to become a family dog and he is doing amazing in his foster home. We are so proud! When he was first rescued a couple years ago, feral was the only way to describe him. He avoided any and all contact with humans, trying to make himself as small as possible to protect himself. He has been working very hard and has made so much progress. He willingly takes treats, curls up on the couch with his foster mom, and loves walks.
Paxton moved into his very first foster home after residing in boarding and with trainers. He loves it there. The best home for Paxton is a quiet home with no children. He absolutely needs another confident dog in the home so he can learn how to be loved by people. A younger playful dog would be best. Paxton loves to run around and romp with his friends. A secure fenced in yard would be wonderful to allow him to play. He LOVES treats and they are the way to his heart.
