Peaches

Give Peaches a warm welcome! She hails from Mississippi. Dog name: Peaches aka kanga Gender: spayed female Age/weight: About 4 months, 6.3 lbs Breed: Chihuahua mix Heartworm status: negative Medications/Injuries: none Good with people? Has not met a stranger yet. Children? I'm pretty sure she would love kids, but not too young as she is like a squirmy pup when being held. Dogs? Does well with all 5 of my personal dogs Cats? Unknown, she's smaller than most cats truthfully. Other animals? Unsure about farm animals House trained? At times she does well, still a work in progress. Crate trained? Does well in a crate Energy level: High energy (she’s a puppy!) Travel well? Yes Favorite toy/activity: Loves chewy toys and her nutcracker stuffed toy Leash trained? Is leash trained. I have a tiny harness for her and she does well. Fence Required? I would suggest a fence, she loves running, has the zoomies 90% of the time. She loves the outdoors. Peaches was found abandoned at about 1 1/2 lbs in a driveway. A delivery man spotted her and no one claimed her. They contacted the shelter and brought her there. I went and picked her up that day as she was dehydrated. It took a few days to get things normal. She’s doing nicely. Definitely a young pup and does like to chew and bite your ankles (or toes). She's learning but it's taking the act of god, she's quite stubborn, lol. In order to help her be the best family member, she would definitely benefit with some training.
