My Story

Peanut The Social Butterfly that Loves to Snuggle! Peanut is a tiny pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life! Rescued by RezDawg Rescue in New Mexico just before Christmas, she arrived with her five siblings at only 5-6 weeks old, weighing less than two pounds. She and her sister Noelle bravely fought off parvo, and now Peanut is a healthy, happy little pup, full of energy and affection! This little dynamo is as social as they comeshe adores people, loves other dogs, and is even full of wiggles and kisses for the cat. Always ready to make new friends, Peanut has an adorable smile, is playful, curious and likes to be in the middle of the fun. But when it's time to unwind, she's just as happy curling up in your lap for a cozy nap. Peanut is doing well with potty pads and has started signaling when she needs to go outside to potty. She's also sleeping through the nights in her crate. Likely a mix of small breeds, including Chihuahua and others, she is expected to stay small as she grows. Meet Peanut in person! She will be at our adoption event on 2/1 at Petco in Denver, at 5709 W 44th Ave, noon-3pm! Noelle will be available for pre-adoption at this event and her foster mom anticipates she'll be ready for her forever home around February 5th. If you're looking for a pup who will stay small and is equal parts playful and lap dog, Peanut is ready to be your new BFF Apply to adopt Peanut today!
