Pearl is a 7 to 8 month old mixed breed female that is black and white with a short coat. She looks to be a lab, border collie, pitbull mix (our best guess) She weighs 32.4 lbs
She showed up at a house in Wapato and hasn’t left she seems very healthy and she’s great around the people’s other dog who is a one-year-old Shepherd, they do not have any cats and she barks at horses.
She has been with children ages two, 11 and 13 years old and she’s good with them. They do not know if she is house trained since she is not allowed inside. She has been in a crate for three hours and did well. She has a medium activity level. They do not know if she is leash trained, or knows any commands. They do not believe she has any bad habits. She is friendly, likes attention and lays down near you. She’s eating pedigree And she’s fed together and separate from the other dog they say her personality is good and friendly.
Pearl is looking for a loving forever home as someone's companion or for a family as an inside girl and a nice fenced in yard for her to run around and play and take in the rays come the nice weather. If you would just love to give Pearl that home, please fill out our dog adoption application at www.yvpr.org/adoptions. Thank you for choosing to adopt.
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
Thanks for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
