Pearl Onion A169694 20 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old - Can be timid at times. Especially on leash and with doorways. - She walks ok otherwise but can pull a bit - She's not interested in treats or toys currently - Outside she was happy to be able to do lots of zoomies - She's affectionate and gives kisses - Likes to curl up for snuggles and pets - Just needs some time and patience. A low traffic home would benefit her as even loud noises scare her. - Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids. Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-3:30 BUT our adoptions are done 7 days a week from 10:30am -3:00pm.
