Peewee

Name: Peewee Breed: Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher Mix Age: Estimated 10 months Background: Peewee was picked up as a stray. Personality: Peewee is absolute sweetheart. He is a harmless cutie that loves people. In his kennel, he hides under his bed because he doesn't like the loud barking in the shelter, but outside he's an absolute riot. He loves playing and loves getting attention. He melts in your arms and "smiles" when he gets excited. Sometimes he gets so excited he pees a little, but that's okay as he keeps his bed and kennel nice and clean. He has not been dog tested, but reacts positively when dogs pass his kennel. Ideal Home: Peewee may appreciate a quieter home, or at least one willing to work with his nervousness. He's eager to please and he adores humans, so he may adapt quickly. He still has some puppy energy, so he'd appreciate an outlet for that. Final Thoughts: We are still getting to know Peewee, but so far he's just a sweet, energetic boy. He's certainly an odd-shaped fellow (big head and ears, long body, and stumpy legs), but he's super cute. He hasn't been neutered yet, but will be before adoption.
