PEGGY

REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER: Peggy is an indoor/outdoor dog that is used to being left alone for up to 8 hours per day. She is house trained, walks fairly well on the leash and knows the sit, stay and down commands. Shes friendly toward most people; she may not appreciate any small children running up on her. She has not lived with any children; older, dog-savvy children may be okay. Peggy previously lived with a puppy and they got along well. Shes a very sweet and affectionate dog; she will protect you once she sees you as her owner. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Peggy is a sweetheart! She will seek out people for attention and loves all that youll give! She previously lived with a smaller dog and they got along well. She really likes to be around people and will follow you around if you let her. She is mellow for her age. She could most likely live with another dog again; a meet and greet is recommended. Weighs 46 pounds; $25 to adopt.
