Please call my foster mom Cheryl Muir at 406-808-9444 if you want to meet me. My name is Penny but my foster mom says I should be called SnuggleBug. Maybe it’s because I LOVE to snuggle on the couch with my foster parents so much! I immediately look deeply into the eyes of anyone giving me attention- that’s the best feeling!!! I have a big foster brother who is twice my size and we enjoy playing outside together during the day and then snuggling in his bed together at night. Even though I have my own bed here, it sure is nice to cozy up with the big guy. I hate to brag, but I have to tell you I am completely house trained and have exemplary behavior in the home. I’ve never had a potty accident or chewed any of the human things. I learned very quickly not to poop in the playing area outside. I walk on leash so nicely but prefer a harness because my neck is very big the collar can slip right off. I sit nicely when food is prepared for me and know how to eat out of my own bowl. I don’t really love dry kibble but if you put a little fish oil or a spoonful of canned food in it, it tastes like a gourmet meal suddenly! I’m healthy and active (but not hyperactive). I enjoy lots of exercise and will run zoomies in the morning after my breakfast. I would make a great running buddy. I could also be trained for tracking. I’m very smart and can pick up scents and sounds before others in the house. I let everyone know when a stranger is near and promise to protect you. My bark isn’t big- it’s more of a quiet squeaky bark. My foster parents didn’t even know I had a voice for at least 2 weeks. I might be about 2 years old, I am spayed, have had all my shots, and am ready for a forever home. Google says I’m a beagle lab mix (beard or). I would need a nice fenced yard to get my exercise and loving people to pet me.
