Meet Pepper & Mint – A Bonded Pair of Sweet Senior Chihuahuas Pepper and Mint are a pair of 10-year-old Chihuahua mixes looking for a loving home where they can stay together. These sweet seniors have had a well-cared-for life but recently lost their home due to their elderly owner’s health challenges and transition into assisted living. Their owner cared for them deeply and ensured they had excellent vet care, but sadly, her family was unable to keep them. Pepper and Mint are on the larger side for Chihuahuas and could benefit from a little weight loss, but they are otherwise healthy, fully vaccinated, leash trained, and potty trained. They’re great with people and have done well around puppies in their current foster situation. However, they can be vocal around other dogs at times , so a home where they can be the center of attention or with calm companions may be best. These two have been through a lot and deserve a stable, loving home where they can continue to thrive as a bonded pair. They adore people and will make loyal and affectionate companions for a home with older kids (14+) or an adult-only household. Adoptions will take place in Delaware County, PA. An appointment must be made to meet/adopt as all of our dogs are in foster homes. We currently allow adoptions to PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY, VA, WV, OH, MA, RI, VT, NH, CT and ME residents & we may make exceptions to this on a case by case basis. **
