Hi!
My name is Peyton and I’m a loyal yellow Lab with a heart as big as the sky! I’m writing this because I need a hero—someone with experience, patience, and a whole lot of love. My mom is about to bring a tiny human into the world, and while she’s over the moon, life is getting complicated. She’s moving to a temporary place where I can’t stay, but here’s the thing: she loves me deeply and wants me back. I just need a safe place to stay for about three months until she can settle into our forever home together.
I won’t lie—I come with some quirks. I’ve got separation anxiety, which means I get really scared when I’m left alone. It’s not that I want to be difficult; it’s just that I love my humans so much, and the thought of being without them can make me panic. I’m on Prozac to help calm my nerves, and my mom will explain exactly how to handle me. With patience and understanding, I promise I’m worth it.
Here’s the deal: I need a foster home where I can be the only pet. Other animals just aren’t my thing. What I do need is someone who can be around a lot, especially during those moments when I start to feel unsure. I’m a good boy at heart—I’m loyal, loving, and I’ve saved my mom from some really dark times. Now I’m hoping someone can step in and save me when I need it the most.
This is urgent!!! My mom has to move by January 31st, and with her about to give birth, the clock is ticking. If no one can take me in, things are looking really grim. I don’t want to think about what might happen if I don’t find the right person.
Please, if you have experience with dogs like me—dogs who need a little extra love and guidance—and you can open your home to me for a few months, you could save my life. My mom is desperate to keep me; she just needs someone to help us through this rough patch. I wouldn't even mind another rescue with an experienced foster.
I’ve been my mom’s rock, her ESA dog, her reason to keep going when things got tough. Now I need someone to be my rock. If that’s you, please step forward. My mom and I will be forever grateful.
With hope and lots of tail wags,
Peyton
