Phillip would be an amazing companion for someone who would like a little dog as he has already reached his mature weight of just 5 pounds. Due to his small size combined with his age, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a short tan and white coat, and he does have a little bit of alopecia on his belly and his back leg, but it's not hurting anybody! Phillip gets along great with other dogs. He can be a little shy around new humans, but once he warms up, he'll show you his sparkling personality. He still has a young spirit and doesn't act like he's already 10 years old. This old man has a lot of life in him! Phillip still loves to run around and play, and he will follow you around waiting to be picked up! He was surrendered through no fault of his own, his owner passed away. This sweetie deserves the perfect loving home, adopt Phillip and let him fill your life with laughter and love! (ME, 10/4/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.
