WIGGLE BUTT! If there was ever a dog who epitomizes "never say never," Phoenix is him. He came to us broken down, tired, and abused. He emerged reborn and renewed and ready to be part of a family. His former owners left him to rot at a boarding facility, terrified and deaf; Phoenix sat there waiting to die. A colleague approached us, asking us to help, of course, we said yes. Phoenix spent a few weeks with our trainer learning how to be a dog, and he is ready to find his new fur-ever family. He's a beautiful dog with a tremendous spirit! Phoenix is a huge cuddle bug, extra points if you scratch his butt! He will do anything for a treat! He loves to hike and take long walks with his foster mom. Phoenix is very athletic; he's a big and strong fella, kids over 16 are best! Phoenix is deaf, he has been e-collar trained and that is how his foster communicates with him. He is housebroken, crate trained and his obedience skills are sharp and impressive! Phoenix is vetted, neutered, and chipped. He is 6 years old and weighs 77 lbs. His new family will attend training lessons with our trainer to learn his training and command structure. Applicants should have power-breed experience.
