Meet Pickles! This 2 year old 15lb cutie is waiting for his forever family! After bieng found on the street in Houston and going through the shelter system, he is ready for stability for sure! He is fully vetted and was treated for Heartworm before coming up North. His foster mom is crazy about him and here's what she has to say: "Pickles is a very loving and loyal boy looking for his human and possibly dog companions. He is good with children, a bit cautious at first when meeting other dogs, and has not been with cats since leaving TX (but was fostered with them there!) Overall his energy level is moderate, and his temperament is calm and curious — he likes to be wherever his human is, but can also settle into his bed to relax. We’re working on crate training and basic commands.. The residence dogs have been helping to boost his confidence with things like the stairs and learning about commands and toys, which is super cute! He’s a smart little learner and looks up to my other dogs. Pickles loves adventure, and is fantastic on leash and will walk as long as you’d like. He’s such a lovebug, always wagging his adorable curly tail, trying to snuggle, or giving you kisses wherever he can reach (whether that’s your hands, feet, legs or your face)!
