Everyone, meet Pierre! He is an approximately 5 year old mini Schnauzer. While shy at first, once he spends a little time with you, you’ll be attached at the hip!
Pierre can be very shy and timid when you first meet him, but he very quickly warms up to both people and other pets. Once he warms up to you and learns he can trust you, he will always want to be right at your side. You’ll have a companion for life!
Pierre does very well with other small and medium sized dogs, but he can initially be scared of larger dogs. This is something he quickly moves past with a little patience. He also gets along well with cats, to the point they can both be sitting on the couch without any issue.
He would definitely benefit from having a fenced in yard, allowing him to be able to wander around freely. He does have experience walking on a leash, but he is still getting the hang of it.
Pierre is making great strides towards house training since he moved in with his foster family. He is working on being less nervous when being kenneled and getting better all the time.
