My Story

Piglet is an exuberantly joyful 1 year old Bloodhound waiting in Silicon Valley for her new family. She was born with a curly stub of a tail, snorts when she's excited or sleeping soundly, and loves to jump in muddy puddles with an enthusiasm that would make Peppa Pig proud, hence the name Piglet. She can be shy when she meets unfamiliar people or encounters new things like the noisy garbage truck, but she quickly warms up and makes friends everywhere she goes. Piglet loves giving kisses and cuddling on the couch with her people, and she rides well in the car. She is learning to walk nicely on the leash, and she enjoys going for long walks. She's good with other dogs, cats, and kids, although she isn't always aware of her size and may be a bit too rambunctious for very small children. Currently in good weight at 65 pounds and still growing, Piglet loves sleeping in her crate and is working on housetraining. A very smart girl, she is picking up commands quickly and would likely thrive with agility or nosework training.
