My Story

Meet Pina!! Pina and her sister Colada were saved from a shelter. Colada was adopted and now Pina is looking for her perfect home. These poor babies had mange (not contagious) and really needed to get out of the shelter. They are now thriving in their foster homes. These two are wonderful! We really enjoy their happy and outgoing personalities. Pina is a female approx 5 months old. She was listed as lab mix at the shelter but we think she may have more shepherd due to her body build and personality. She will likely be a larger dog. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of her adoption. She has been treated for the mange. She still has some hair to regrow but not much. Almost fully healed. PINA- Female, 28 pounds- Very social and sweet. Follows you around the yard, ready to go anywhere with you. Did pretty good on the leash but needs more training. Great about the crate and doing really well with potty training. Very few accidents. LOVES tennis balls it’s so cute, she brings it back about half the time and is still learning how to play with toys. Already knows how to sit. She is the perfect playful puppy that would be a wonderful super sweet addition to any house. She is very friendly with people and other dogs. She really loves anyone to play with or follow around! She has not met any cats yet. She loves children but does jump up on everyone still. Typical puppy behavior but something to consider if you have smaller children. No aggression just excited and playful. Pina did really well with riding in the car and did great at the vet. She does still have typical puppy energy. She loves to play and need lots of exercise each day to be happy. Her suspected breeds stay high energy for years so you will need to be prepared to provide her physical and mental exercise each day. She is still learning what she can and can’t chew on, to stay off counters, and other puppy behaviors. Her new owners will need to be dedicated to training and exercise. Adopting a young puppy is a ton of work. They will have lots of potty accidents, chew things up etc. You will need to help them learn things like leash walking, crate training and basic manners. It can be a lot of work but the reward is a dog that fits well into your family’s lifestyle if you invest proper time on training with them. Please carefully consider the time and effort a puppy requires before adopting. Vet and home checks required. Located in Hampton VA. (She will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) Please message [email protected] directly with questions or to get an application.
