My Story

Pinky was outside during the dead of winter for at least a month or more. Her physique indicated she was emaciated at 73lbs and recently had a litter of puppies or many litters. Pinky was dodging traffic constantly while searching for food. She was extremely scared and nobody could get near her for weeks. Neighbors in the area planned a trap & rescue mission to bring Pinky in and get her well. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork! Pinky has had all of her medical taken care of. She is spayed, heart worm negative, utd on vaccinations. She is still a bit guarded & shy but warms up in time. She is food motivated so treats work well for incentive, knows several commands, house and crate trained. Pinky will do well in a home with an active owner as she loves her walks and does well on a leash. Pinky really likes cats, a home with big kids is advised. Slow introductions with other dogs, her preference is male dogs. Pinky is a fun loving, playful gal who is extremely loyal to her caregiver. FHAS is recommending a “Foster to Adopt” home for Pinky. She still needs to build some confidence and get used to socializing a bit more. If you’re interested in giving Pinky a place to unfold and find her footing, please see our website in our bio to learn how to foster love in your life and hers! ?????
