My Story

Meet our lil boy Pip! Pip came to us last October after being found injured. This poor little nugget had been hit by a car. We had hoped the injury to his leg would heal in time by splinting but unfortunately the break to the bones was so severe that his leg had to be amputated. Pip was lucky enough to go from surgery to recover in a wonderful Foster home. Pip is now fully recovered and thanks to being in foster he has worked on being crate trained, has done amazing with Potty Training, does well with the little Chihuahua and has learned to be respectful of the bigger dog in the house. Pip is around 15 lbs , 2 years of age and needs a slow and steady approach to all new situations and people. We can't really blame the lil guy with everything he has been through! Pip is being fostered with kids and he has done well with them. Pip LOVES toys, he likes treats but is not food motivated. He is a delightful and sweet boy once he finds his comfort zone. Pip has been neutered, he will be microchipped and he has been updated on all vaccines including rabies. He has been started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.
