Piper

Piper, a 9 year old male Weimaraner is bonded with a sweet as can be Beagle named Rudy. Rudy is 6 years old and must be adopted with his "brother from another mother". Picked up as strays a few days apart, these two were likely dumped by their owner. Both dogs are being fostered in Grand |Haven, Michigan. These two goofs are best buddies. Piper was picked up by the Warden and taken to the local shelter where he wailed for the entire day and night. It was awful for the shelter to see and hear as Piper was inconsolable and had to be medicated. And it wasn't until Rudy was picked up and brought to the same shelter 2 days later when the most joyous reunion took place. It was so obvious that these two dogs had lived together and had been on the lam for quite some time. That is why they must be adopted together - they only have each other. Both have done remarkably well in rescue and would be a great addition to a home where the owners are active and enjoy being outdoors with their dogs.
