Hello, my name is: Pippin DOB: 11/25/2024 Sex/Breed: Male Chihuahua mix Weight: ~6 lbs Rescued From: Owner surrender **SPECIAL NEEDS: PIPPIN HAS LIMITED HEARING** Pippin and his brother, Merry, were part of an accidental litter and needed a safe place to land. They were flea-infested and in desperate need of TLC. Lucky for them, a willing foster family stepped up to offer them a soft place to land. These boys are super sweet and ready to find families of their own! Pippin is travel-sized and likes to meet new dogs and people! He is learning sit' and no' with hand signals. He is a firecracker who loves to explore and doesn't have much fear when facing new situations. Pippin does like to snuggle, but not as much as his brother, so don't expect constant lap potato status from him; he likes to PLAY! Since he's hard of hearing, we would recommend another dog companion in the home that he can take his cues from. He loves all dogs but likes to play rough despite his small stature, so another dog that likes to run around in the yard and tussle would be a great fit. Pippin absolutely LOVES cardboard boxes and will hoard his toys inside of them like a little cave troll. He is doing well with his training and promises to be a great companion to the patient family willing to give him a chance!
