I'm a mama who's done raising my babies, and now it's my time to shine. My name is Pixie, and I would like to find my forever home now. I'm shy, sweet, loving, and ready to share all the love I've got with a family of my very own. I've been blessed with the opportunity to stay in a foster home for a short time. My Foster Mom says that I'm housebroken, I'm a quiet gal, and I don't even need to be in a kennel in her home because I've got excellent house manners. Yes, I'm a very, very good girl. I'm also not shy every second of the day. My personality really starts to come out on my walks. With nobody to see me, I'll leap and play bow as we stroll. My tail goes up as my confidence takes over, and I relish every minute of the walk with you as I take in the sights and smells. I will stop and lean into you, waiting for your hand to stroke me. Those are moments of pure bliss for me. I can be a little selective about which dogs I share my space with, so it's important for me to meet any potential dog friends before we make things official. But once we're comfy with each other, I'll be your loyal companion. I'd do best in a home with older children. I'm still figuring shy out how to navigate new situations, and I want to make sure I'm in a place where everyone understands my needs.
