My Story

Whew, this little guy is WIDE OPEN! Meet Polo, a sweet and exuberant pup. He's a wee bit anxious and is totally a Bully in a China Shop! It's no wonder - his favorite morning pick-me-ups are dried leaves and a cuppa coffee! Polo adores a rope toy and runs after any ball (doesn't *quite* fetch - haha) and would love you forever if you played tug-o-war with him! Polo is a pretty happy pup, all around; looking for a home with plenty of dedicated time for exercise! A tired pup is a happy one! This guy LOVES belly rubs, and will flop right over given half the chance. Polo is just a wiggle-worm of affection and excitement! He's always up for a new adventure and will jump right into your car to go wherever you do AS LONG AS IT'S NOT BACK HERE! He adores his human caretakers and has literally the WIDEST pittie smile we've ever seen! We greatly recommend a professional obedience class, or an adopter who is experienced with such vivacious pups! Thus far with other dogs, he shows no signs of aggression. No hackles, just excitement; probably wondering if they wanna play tug-o-war, too! It's difficult to determine whether he'd be good with cats, but we're leery given that he is so wide open. Kids? He's probably sweet with them, but would definitely be obstacles he might run over with his zoomies. Polo is READY TO GO! Neutered, vaxxed, microchipped - Check! The shelter is open to the public to have a looksie, but in order to set up a meet & greet, an application must be submitted and approved! Call the shelter today to find out more about this handsome fella! updated 11/18/24
