Hi there! I'm Pompom. I'm a Shih Tzu-Chihuahua mix, almost 3 years old, and weigh only 5 pounds. I was surrendered to CAMO after my previous owner could no longer care for me and my family due to landlord issues. I'm currently being fostered in the Houston area together with my 3 month old puppy, Yumi. Don't worry, we do not need to be adopted together! I'm friendly and get along with everyone I meet, including kids. My foster mom says I'm very clingy, but I don't mind sharing her with my other furry friends, and she loves that about me. I'm such a good girl because I've NEVER shown any sign of aggression towards my humans or furry friends. EVER! I'm fully potty and house-trained, but I'll need to learn your routine to keep things running smoothly. I love walks and am great on a leash. I also sleep through the night without any problems in my crate. I'm a quiet companion, preferring serene moments and gentle cuddle time over barking sessions. The only time I whine is when I see my foster mom preparing my food - because I think meal times should be NOW time! I am spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. CAMO selects the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's needs. CAMO is also happy to approve out-of-area/state adopters but transportation is the responsibility of the adopter.
