Meet Pongo! A 1.5 year old Dalmatian weighing around 49lbs. Pongo is a smart, active and sweet boy looking for the right family. Pongo can be selective with other dogs so a trainer led meet and greet is required for any current dogs in your home. Pongo should do well around children who understand his high energy. Pongo has not been around cats yet but we will test him soon. Pongo would benefit from an owner who understands and maybe has had Dalmatians in the past.
Pongo was originally selected to be trained as a service dog for his incredible temperament, but most dogs do not meet all criteria so he is now available for adoption as a pet- lucky you!
His adoption fee of $300 includes 2 private sessions with one of our trainers to get started on basic obedience. Pongo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
We have an adoption event at our facility from 10am-12pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. Please stop by to meet our adoptable dogs. The address is 6120 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
