Meet Poppy, the sweet little pup looking for a loving forever home! At just 1 year old and weighing in at a tiny 7 pounds, she’s a charming mix of Maltese, Yorkie, and Chihuahua. Rescued from the streets alongside her mother, Gigi?, Poppy is ready to leave her past behind and find her happily ever after. Poppy has a gentle and shy demeanor, making her the perfect companion for a calm and nurturing household. Despite her timid nature, she is incredibly loving and eager to bond with her new family. She gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy to help her come out of her shell. While she may need a bit of housetraining, Poppy is quickly adapting to the routine at the sanctuary. She responds well to the command “go potty” and is learning to do her business outside. Poppy may also benefit from some leash training, but her small size makes her easy to carry in a pouch or push along in a stroller—perfect for outings! She will require regular grooming and needs to be groomed at this time. Currently vaccinated and microchipped, Poppy is scheduled to be spayed soon. She’s all set to become your loving companion!
