Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday, March 21st and 22nd. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet-and-greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long, and it would be too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to return to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. Posh is a happy little playful puppy. She loves everyone. She affectionate and sweet. She likes playing with toys and the other puppies here as well. She is eating puppy kibble and canned puppy food. She especially loves the canned puppy food and can smell when I am making up their dishes letting me know of her excitement for her food. She is very young so we haven't started potty training yet but have been working on potty pad training instead. She is crate trained. She is current on all of her vaccinations. She will be old enough to go to her forever home on our next transport. Posh was actually born here at the rescue. Her momma found us looking for a warm safe place to have her babies. A week after coming to us it was time and she had 8 healthy little ones, Posh included. Mom is a small brindle pitbull mix but we have no idea on who the daddy was. Posh is ready to find her forever home and finish growing up in loving safe environment. Could you be the family she is looking for? Sun Prairie, and Fon Du Lac, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, IL (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield, Bloomington, and Oglesby pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ We don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 2 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Most of our puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, sometimes three. Occasionally, we will not have had them long enough for the second round. Our puppies less than 6-8 months old will not be spayed or neutered, and the cost of out-of-state surgery is not included in our adoption fees. Spaying and neutering is an adoption contract requirement that it be done by the puppy's first birthday. This will be at the expense of the adopter. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3; proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All our dogs will be in foster care in Texas until they are adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do our best based on the pup's and the mother's appearance if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies, and litters of puppies can have more than one father.
