The name Preacher might make people think this boy is a talker. That is not the case! The only sounds we heard out of Preacher were little whines and a few coughs when a treat went down too fast. We will get on the soapbox for Preacher and all our dogs. We can't state enough how many wonderful dogs are waiting in shelters like Preacher. He is young, confused, playful, and pretty. Preacher knows some commands and listens well even though he is distracted by everything else. He is a good boy that needs a real chance in a home that loves him his entire life.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
