My Story

Preacher is a sweet, lovable dog who has found a second chance at happiness. Previously chained up for several months on a property, he was rescued by the older couple who lived next door. Thankfully, they rescued him just before the first Southern freeze this year. When the couple saw his situation, they couldn't bear to leave him in the cold. They kindly asked the people who lived next door if they could take him in and give him a new start in life. The neighbor agreed!! Now living in a warm, loving home, Preacher has blossomed into the perfect companion. Weighing in at 64 pounds, he's a big softie with a heart full of love. Preacher is friendly, always eager to meet new people and share his affection. He's especially fond of lounging in front of the TV, where he'll happily curl up and watch shows with his family. Preacher's past may have been rough, but today, he's now looking for a family to spend the rest of his happy days with.
