Lower Adoption/Transport Fee: $250.00 Meet Preston, a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix! He's a small boy of only 7 pounds, and because of that, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs. He wears a medium length tan/brown coat with a little graying on his face from age. Preston is very sweet and does well with other dogs. He can be a little shy with new people and new places but warms up very quickly. Even though Preston is a senior dog, he still has spunk in him like a pup! He loves to play and will jump around, waiting for strokes. He loves attention and constantly asks to be picked up and held. Preston came to us because his owner died, and no one else wanted him. What a shame! He's a wonderful boy who needs to go home with you! (posted 10/2/24, ME) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.
