Meet Prima! This incredibly sweet n hefty house hippo found herself AT RISK at our local shelter for after being surrendered for "moving and found as a stray after being adopted out :( We have no idea how anyone could give her up or let her go-but we are happy she found her way to us through her amazing While abandonment has left her with some separation anxiety, she is learning the crate isn't so bad and that someone will always come back for her....It's happened multiple times before, can you really blame her? Prima has already come SO far and is incredibly smart and eager to please her people like the good girl she is. We promise to find her a real family this time and trust us when we say they will hit the jackpot with her!
