My Story

Meet Princess, a 14-year-old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix who absolutely lives up to her royal name! Don’t let her age fool you—this little lady still has plenty of energy and loves to play like a puppy. Her favorite things in life include belly rubs, butt scratches, and being right by your side. Princess had a loving home since she was a puppy, but sadly, her owner passed away, leaving her alone. Thankfully, her foster mom swooped in to give her a safe place to land. Now, she happily shares her home with other dogs (big and small) and even bosses the big ones around from time to time. Cats, however, aren’t her favorite, so she just avoids them. She’s potty trained, though she appreciates potty pads for backup, and she insists on sleeping in bed with her human at night—no exceptions! A ramp to the bed is a must for this little queen. Princess isn’t the biggest fan of being on a leash, as she was used to being carried everywhere in her past life. Her perfect day involves lounging on the couch with you, keeping you company as you sip your morning coffee, and following you around the house to ensure she doesn’t miss a moment of action. At night, she’ll curl up in bed with you, content and happy. Princess is ready to find her forever home where she can be loved and adored—just as every royal deserves.
