"Pugsley" is a Pug mix who originally came from a hoarding situation at 3 yrs. of age. We neutered, vaccinated him and microchipped him in June of 2023. Our foster decided to keep him as they had two female dogs who got along well with him. They renamed him "Pugsley" but obviously did not take very good care of him as they did not notice he had his eye scratched or had some sort of accident that damaged his eye. He also developed a serious skin infection which we are now treating. His eye had to be removed as it was not salvageable and his recovery will take several weeks. The foster also reported that he had recently started marking (which we believe could have been caused by bringing in another female as he was housetrained previously.
This pitiful little guy is only 18 lbs and he is so ugly that he's cute! He has bowed legs and now one eye! He needs a quiet home to recuperated and perhaps some walks. He's good with children, but we prefer he go to an adult home and would even qualify to live in a nursing home or assisted living facility. He also needs to stay in the Powell/Cody area in order to have followups and his medical expenses covered at our vet clinic in Powell.
If you are interested in meeting "Pugsley" please call or text Kathy at (307) 250-2262. His adoption fee will be $200 and he will come with all medical records and all his medical expenses covered at Bighorn Animal Care in Powell.
