Meet Queen!
I mean they don't get much cuter than this little lady. She's adorable girl who is about 2 years old and weighs 46lbs. We are guessing chow mix, based on her fur and that tongue of course.
She was rescued from a shelter quite some time ago but unfortunately has been living in boarding ever since. That's where we stepped in and once we learned about her, we decided this dumpling needs a home.
She loves to play and do lots of investigating around the yard. He favorite thing is to plant her two front feet in her bucket of water! It's quite the site. I'm sure she would love a home with a pool in the yard and the AC pumping.
Queen does show fear predominately around males. She warms up, but it takes a bit longer with men.
We do think an adult only home with adopters experienced with her breed would be best. Here are some typical traits of the breed.
Formidable guard dog; highly territorial
Docile and devoted
Independent and headstrong
Doesn’t respond to training quickly
Suspicious of and aggressive toward strangers and other dogs if not socialized properly
Doesn’t do well in the heat
