hi Queenie! This gentle lady is a 10 1/2 year Shih Tzu. She was surrendered to our care from a commercial breeder in Lancaster when they finally chose to stop breeding her. She is 15 lbs. 10 years spent breeding is an incredibly long time, so it is no wonder that little Queenie came to us shy and nervous. While she allows us all handling, she really would prefer a bit more quiet home. We think she would really appreciate a home where someone is home a lot (work from home / retired etc.) and from having another social dog at home that could show her the ropes. She has been doing wonderful with us at the rescue - so well, that she has been going to many adoption events where she has always been a rockstar. She loves cuddling up with our volunteers and has always been very well behaved. She will need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4dx tested and dewormed.
