My Story

Hi there, I’m Tessa. I’m a sweet and spunky 4-year-old lady looking for my furever home! I may be small, but I have a big heart full of love to share. I’m always alert and curious about the world around me – whether it’s sniffing out new adventures on walks (I’m great on a leash!) or watching the world go by from the car (yes, I ride like a pro!). When I’m not out exploring, I love to curl up in a warm lap for some snuggle time. I also know how to use a doggie door and have good potty manners. Whether we’re going on an adventure or just lounging on the couch, I will be right there with you, ready to add joy to every moment. Are you the loving home I’ve been waiting for? Let’s meet soon – I can’t wait to be your new best friend! Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting [email protected]. [NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
