Hi, my name is Rae! I’m a 45 lb., 1-year-old Pit mix and I’d love to have a family to call my own. I’m crate-trained and potty-trained, but I’m not a fan of going outside alone. My foster mom always walks me outside so that I can do my business. I’m very cautious with everything and it takes me a little while to warm up to new people and situations. During the few weeks I’ve been with my foster mom, I have started to gain some confidence. I will need a patient family with a calm household to help me continue to come out of my shell. I’d prefer not to have any young kids in the house, as their activity makes me too nervous. When my foster mom has her grandkids over, I tend to retreat to my crate to avoid the commotion. I’m sure one day I will overcome my nerves but I still need a little more time to gain some confidence in myself. My foster mom says that I’m still learning how to be a dog. I don’t play much and I’m not a huge fan of toys. I do love to chew on bones, though! They are my favorite. I do get the zoomies on occasion and boy am I fast! I love to snuggle with my foster mom. It took me a little time to warm up to her but I sure do love curling up next to her now. Hopefully, you have room in your house for a big snuggle bug! Fill out an application to meet me ASAP!
