My Story

Meet Rasputia, a twelve year old Chihuahua/Husky mix. Rasputia weighs in at 58 pounds... That's right, she is almost twice the size she should be. Our vet thinks that a healthy weight for her is around 30 pounds, so Rasputia is on a diet. This is something that has to be taken very seriously as it is affecting her health and ability to do things, such as walking. Rasputia was found in someone's abandoned backyard that was fully fenced, they only could assume she was tossed over the fence as there is no way this chunky girl got in by herself. She enjoys short walks and would love to build up her stamina for some longer strolls. Rasputia is looking for a retirement home that will love her with attention and not food. She could use a dental but due to her size we advise she loses some weight before going under as dentals can take time. If you have a heart for senior dogs please consider Rasputia.
