My Story

Reba is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 2.5 years old and weighs 33 pounds. She was rescued by a private rescuer near the border of Mexico with her puppies. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t well taken care of. She gets along well with the other dogs her at the shelter. She has the most calming, sweet spirit. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! She is pretty close to perfect, the nicest temperament! She is the cutest little low rider that is super loving. Additional video! https://youtu.be/KA9DllI_gAI?si=b2EIP1WnkBWMR7F3 Reba is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 22nd. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. If you would like to add this sweet and tender Mama to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* Reba tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs.
