My Story

Hi there! My name’s Reba, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home. I used to be a stray, but the wonderful folks at GPRA brought me in and have been helping me ever since. Right now, I’m staying at the vet’s office, but I’m also hoping to find a foster home while I wait for my new family. I’ve got a bit of a shy side, especially with new people, but once I get to know you, I’m all sweetness. I might take my time to warm up, but trust me, it’s totally worth it! I even like to show my love with a special “Pyr Paw” when I feel comfortable. And just look at my gorgeous green eyes and sweet face—how could anyone resist? I’m an easygoing, playful girl who loves hanging out with other dogs. I’m still getting the hang of cats, though—sorry, I might bark at them a little. But with time and more exposure, I’m sure I’ll stop barking and could become great pals with them! I can be a bit skittish at first, so I’ll need someone who’s patient and willing to go slow with me. Once I trust you, I’m all in for fun and cuddles! I walk pretty well on a leash, especially if I have a harness (I could use a little guidance here and there). I’m good with kids, too—whether they’re 10 or 16, I’m playful and gentle around them. If you’re a family who can be patient with me while I adjust, apply to adopt me. I can’t wait to show you how sweet, loyal, and loving I can be!
