Rebel (Revel, Redbull)

Rebel is a super cute young adult, who absolutely loves people. He is great with kids and adults alike. Rebel is wonderful with other dogs, but he is a bit fearless, which must beanaged by his human companion. Rebel has some significant genetic issues and he needs a family who does not mind taking the extra steps necessary to take proper care of him. Rebel has 3 different issues with his spine, as well as an abnormal urethra. Rebel has been to 2 different specialists and has many tests done, including an MRI. His doctors advised us to not do anything at this time, as spinal surgeries can make things worse. Because Rebel is not in pain and doesn't have any quality of life issues, his vetrinarians said we should find him his forever home. None of these issues currently prevent him from living his best life, but they do make it so that he doesn't have control of his bowels, which means he will never be fully house broken. With dedication, accidents can be kept to a minimum. We keep a belly band on Rebel when he is indoors, to prevent urine from dripping. Rebel may need spine surgery in the distant future, but that is an unknown at this time. Rebel loves to run and play fetch. He listens well and gets along with all animals he has encountered (dogs, cats, chickens, and goats). We would love for Rebel to find a home with someone who has experience with medically needs dogs and/or Frenchies. Please email us for more information.
