Hi there, I’m Reeses! I’m a 10-pound, 3-month-old female Jack Russell mix—with a little bit of mystery thrown in! No one really knows what else is in my DNA, but what I do know is that I’m sweet, playful and ready to find my forever home. I’m just hanging out at my foster home in Coldwater, Michigan, waiting for my people. My journey hasn’t been the easiest. I came from a very scary kill shelter down south, where it was just me and my sister Riley in a loud, overwhelming place. Because of that, I can be a little skittish. But if you’re patient with me, I promise I’ll be the bestest girl ever. I’m a shy little girl, but I absolutely love playing with other dogs! I’m coming around slowly but surely, and I’m learning that people can be pretty great too. At night, I sleep quietly in my crate with no messes. I’m still figuring out the doggy door—it’s a little scary—but with some encouragement, I’ll go outside to potty. I love toys and have no problem sharing them (same with my food!). One of my favorite things is watching TV—I even tilt my head from side to side as I try to figure out what’s happening on the screen! Since I’m working hard on my potty training, I’d love another dog friend in my new home to help show me the ropes. A fenced yard would be great, but if you take me on lots of walks, I’d be just as happy. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’d probably be okay with them. Kids make me a little nervous, but I know I would warm up to gentle, patient ones. I’ll come fully-vetted and ready to be your new best friend for an adoption fee of $300.
