My Story

Available for Adoption - Starting November 8th! Reggie is a little bundle of joy with a big personality packed into a tiny body! This playful little boy loves running around, exploring, and playing with his siblings. He's curious and brave, always eager to discover what's just around the corner. Reggie is also a sweetheart who enjoys snuggling up for a nap once his playtime is over. He's the perfect mix of adventurous and affectionate, and would thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful energy! Please remember that they are puppies and puppy behavior comes with the package. They need basic training and potty training along with being provided chew toys to encourage proper chewing habits. All puppies require socializing from a young age to help them become the best, most well-rounded dog they can be. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week! A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Before you go searching for free puppies or puppies for sale, check your local Shelters for available dogs and puppies that have been vetted and are ready to go home. Adopt Don't Shop.
