Remy is an adorable 4-year-old beagle, weighing a charming 25 pounds. With his dapper appearance and friendly disposition, he radiates warmth and affection to everyone he encounters. Full of the classic beagle traits, Remy boasts a cheerful demeanor that lights up any room, a curious nose that is always pressed to the ground as he explores his surroundings, and an endearing wiggly tail that expresses his joyful spirit. Rescued as a stray, Remy’s past remains a mystery, but since arriving at the shelter, he has been lovingly cared for. He has received all his vaccinations, been neutered, and tested for heartworm and Lyme disease. Although he tested negative for heartworm, he did test positive for Lyme disease, but he has begun a treatment plan with antibiotics. Despite his current situation, Remy is known for his love of other dogs, although he hasn’t yet had the opportunity to play and socialize with them. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees:** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn’t been done, we’ll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment:** We accept cash only—no checks, debit, or credit cards please.
