Adoption by Advance Application Only Email [email protected] Remy was surrendered by her owner after having lived in a car for a time. Remy is a purebred German Shepherd who needs a special adopter. Remy was completely stressed out when she came in for surrender. Then, her owner returned for her, and she was again so stressed and excited that she ended up nipping a staff member. Sadly, the owner opted to leave her here. We believe Remy needs some time and a different environment (a home) to decompress after all her trauma. Currently, she is in major protective mode due to the stress of living in a car, being surrendered, almost going home, and being left again. Because of the circumstances, we had a trainer come out to assess her. He believes she needs to be placed in a home ASAP with a person with GSD experience. German Shepherds are very dedicated to their families and are also working breeds. They are so confused when you take their family and their job away! We also believe Remy deserves a chance. We will take applications until we find the right adopter for Remy. She is housebroken and loves other dogs. A home with no children would be best.
