Rex

Meet Rex, a 5-6 month old neutered male terrier/lab mix puppy! He currently weighs about 23 lbs and is expected to grow to a medium/large dog. Rex and his brother Doug were picked up as strays in east TN and are now ready to find their furever homes! Doug is a little bigger than Rex and has larger paws, so we think he will grow to be bigger than his brother, but both boys are underweight right now and have some weight to gain (their foster mama is diligently working on this!) Rex is a little shy/timid at first, but he warms up quickly and is full of so much love! He is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. He loves to snuggle and give kisses! He is medically up to date, crate trained, and working on housebreaking. Apply to meet this sweet boy today! As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other less desirable dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
