Ria is 2 year old and 24lbs. She is friendly with dogs, cats and children. She is very shy at first, but once she is comfortable she is sweet and loving. She also likes to play and she walks well on a leash. Ria needs a family that can be patient with her and teach her that the world isn’t a scary place.
Ria is with a foster in Monroe.
From her foster: “Ria, aka RayRay, is a very special lady looking for a special home. She hasn't shared her past but has shown that she is VERY afraid of the world around her. She will need a home that is willing to give her space to learn to accept and love them. Once she decides you are her family, she can be very loving, playful and seeks attention.
She has interacted well with all fellow dog housemates. She will defer to any that are bossy. She LOVES her soft toys to death, but saves the squeakier ones for you. She enjoys chews that keep her engaged and she will come with a couple of her favorite toys.
RayRay has been crated and will go in with treats to entice her. However, she will chirp and bark her complaint of being there. She loves to sleep on the comfy couch or recliner at night.
RayRay will need a home that will be patient and allow her space/time to trust. She wants to be engaged and learn new things. She is looking for a home that will love her before she can love them back.”
