My Story

Meet Riley: Your Friendly Adventurer! Riley is a charming and sociable dog with a heart full of love and a nose that's always on the hunt for the next great smell! This food-motivated sweetheart lights up every room he enters, bringing joy to all the caretakers and volunteers who have had the pleasure of meeting him. His friendly demeanor shines through as he confidently explores his surroundings with a loose body and a wagging tail. Riley loves to play tug with rope toys and chase squeaky soft toys, showing excellent bite inhibition and a knack for soliciting play by tossing toys his way. Riley's friendly nature extends to other dogs, as demonstrated by his easygoing introduction to our helper dog. He exhibited relaxed body language and a playful spirit, showing he's confident and enjoys making new friends! Plus, he's lived peacefully with cats, making him a versatile addition to any family! Riley loves his meals and tends to eat quickly, so a slow feeder bowl is recommended to help him savor his food. He's learned to be comfortable during medical handling, even if he prefers not to have his paws touched-no nail trims just yet! Riley would thrive in a loving home where he can continue to explore and play. Whether he's lounging with his human or going on adventures, this gentle giant will bring a smile to your face every day. If you're looking for a sweet, adventurous companion who's ready to be your new best friend, Riley is the pup for you! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition?
