RILEY

Meet Riley!! Riley is a 6–7-month-old pup who was recently surrendered to us. Her mother was originally from Texas and gave birth to Riley and her siblings in Washington. From there, she was adopted, but her adoptive family did not think they could keep up with the pace of a puppy. Riley is now in a foster home as we continue to learn about her personality. She definitely needs some play and exercise, along with mental stimulation to help her burn her puppy energy. She’s a huge fan of frozen kongs with PB inside and rotating some bones to give her plenty of chew options. She’s very skittish - doesn’t have a lot of confidence with new things. She is currently a little anxious and unsure as she settles into foster. Keeping a routine will help with this. Another dog in the home would help her to build the confidence and show her the ropes. A couple of things to keep in mind: • Please carefully think this through, a puppy is a BIG responsibility that will require your time, patience, and training. • She will not be eligible to fly - in cabin or cargo. Adopters will be responsible for transport and will need to pick these pups up via vehicle and transport them home that way • Consider how much time you are away from home - young puppies cannot be left alone for long periods of time. If you work outside of the home we would want to talk through what plans you would have in place to ensure the puppy is not left alone too long. • We do not have any information about their breed as mama appears to be a Golden mix and we don’t know who the father is.
