My Story

Meet Rio!!! Rio is just as handsome, as he is smart, well behaved, AND house trained!! Rio has been overlooked for so long because he’s a large boy… can you be his forever? This 5 year old 77 pound husky shepherd mix is a STELLAR companion. He has medium energy and can be great in an active or a calm home! Rio Understands and responds to house rules quickly. Rio is good with other DOGS of any size with proper introduction but prefers to be the only in home as he really gets attached to his humans. RIO LOVES cuddles and pets, he’s a great hiking buddy and tv watching buddy, and is very food motivated too. He walks Great on leash! He enjoys hikes but also just playing with his toys inside!
